Stourbridge Company of Archers
Coming up...
Fri 15 Dec - last indoor session before Christmas. We resume on 05 Jan.

Sun 17 Dec - Christmas Frostbite, 12:30 at the field. Bring something edible to share and a wrapped prize of around £5 worth for secret Santa.

Sun 14 Jan - WA 25m. The afternoon session is now FULL. There are still plenty of spaces in the morning session for those who aren't caning it on the Saturday night or want to shoot early so they can do something else with the rest of their day! Or why not shoot the morning session, go for a leisurely pub lunch and come back for the raffle and presentations?

Stourbridge Company of Archers is a target archery club, though some of its members also regularly participate in field, clout and roving marks. Members shoot recurve, compound and longbow.
Our home ground is at the Somers Sports and Social Club in Halesowen where outdoor practice, club and open shoots are held. Indoor shooting during the winter takes place at Waseley Hills High School in Rednal.
The following venues are used by SCoA:

Outdoor club, tournaments and beginners' courses - Somers Sports & Social Club, Grange Hill, Halesowen B62 0JH
Indoor club and tournaments - Waseley Hills High School, School Road, Rednal B45 9EL
Beginners' courses are held each year. For a modest fee to cover the provision of equipment and insurance, you can have a detailed, safe and, we hope, enjoyable introduction to the sport of Archery. For queries about courses and to get on our mailing list contact us at enquiries@scoa.org.uk but please read our Getting Started page first.

Our courses for 2023 are either completed or under way. If you contact us we can put you on a mailing list for next year's courses. Alternatively you may be able to do a course at another club and then come to shoot with us. Details of other local clubs are at https://www.worcestershirearchery.co.uk/.

Experienced archers wishing to join us, either from another club, or coming back into the sport after an absence should contact us using the link above. We will probably need to arrange a shooting assessment to confirm that you know how to shoot safely.
